Professor Dr. Theodoros A. Stavrinoudis (Ph.D.) is Professor in “Tourism Management and Human Resources Management” at the University of the Aegean (Department of Tourism Economics and Management and Postgraduate Program in “Strategic Management of Tourism Destinations and Hospitality Enterprises”) and Tutor at the Postgraduate Program in “Management of Tourism Enterprises” at the Hellenic Open University. He also teaches in other Postgraduate Programs in the field of Tourism (Harokopio University, University of West Attica, International Hellenic University) and has given numerous open lectures. He is the Director of the Postgraduate Program in “Strategic Management of Tourism Destinations and Hospitality Enterprises”, Director of the Laboratory of Innovative Tourism Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Development (iTED Lab). He has served as Head of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management, Member of the Senate of the University of the Aegean and Director of the Laboratory of Tourism Research and Studies (ETEM). He is co-author of three books, has contributed seventeen collective editions, his research activity has been reflected in numerous published papers in international scientific journals in the field of tourism (Tourism Management, Current Issues in Tourism, Journal of Human Resources in Hospitality and Tourism etc.) and has presented papers at International Scientific Conferences. He has authored teaching manuals and has supervised numerous postgraduate and undergraduate dissertations at the University of the Aegean, the Hellenic Open University and other Universities. He has successfully supervised four Ph.D. theses and one postdoctoral research. He is Assistant Editor of TOURISMOS: An International Multidisciplinary Refereed Journal of Tourism, reviewer in international scientific journals and conferences and member of scientific committees of international journals and conferences. He has an extensive research record. His main research areas are: Tourism Management, Management of Tourism Enterprises, Strategic Management of Tourism Enterprises, Human Resources Management.
