Tania Pantazi

Airport Employee, Hellenic Aviation Service Provider

Dr. Tania Pantazi is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School and holds a Master (LLM) in International Studies and a PhD from the same Department. Her doctoral thesis was prepared in the Commercial and Economic Law Sector and concerns the rights of passengers in air transport contracts. From 2021 to 2024 she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Business Administration of the University of the Aegean, on the subject of state aid in the European air transport market. Since 2006, she has been working as an airport authority officer at Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (Hellenic Civil Aviation Service Provider since 2022) and has also worked as a lawyer. As part of her duties, she has dealt extensively with issues of air passenger rights, airport security and airport certification legislation. She has taught Public-Tax Law, Private Law and Law of Transactions at the International Hellenic University, Department of Economics, Competition Law at the Department of Organization Management, Marketing and Tourism of the same University, Tourism Law, Competition Law (postgraduate) and European Union and Tourism Policy at the Hellenic Open University, as well as in training programs of the HCAA School of Civil Aviation. She is a Certified Adult Trainer of Non-Formal Education (Greek Professional Qualifications Certification Organization). She has published several studies in international and Greek journals, chapters in books and announcements in conference proceedings on issues of consumer protection, competition law, air transport law, tourism policy, short-term rentals, as well as corporate social responsibility, mostly under their European dimension.
