Evanthia Kardoulia

Lecturer

Dr. Evanthia Kardoulia is a Greek qualified lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association since 2012. She currently works as a Legal Advisor at the Hellenic Consumers’ Ombudsman and the European Consumer Centre of Greece (ECC-Greece). Regarding her professional experience, Evanthia has worked as a lawyer at the Department of Tourism Law of a law firm based in Paris, at several law firms based in Athens and at Elefsina Port Authority S.A. Furthermore, she has worked at the Passenger Rights Unit of the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission in Brussels as well as at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Her areas of specialization are: Tourism Law, Aviation Law, Consumer Protection Law, Hospitality Law and European Law. Regarding her academic experience, since 2020 Evanthia is a Lecturer in Tourism Law at the School of Economics, Business and Computer Science of the Neapolis University Pafos (Cyprus), where she teaches in two postgraduate programs, namely the Distance MBA in Tourism and Distance LLM in International and European Business Law. In the past, she was an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Tourism Studies of the University of Piraeus (Greece). With regards to her studies, Evanthia holds a Ph.D. in Tourism Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a Master’s degree in Tourism Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has participated in many conferences in Greece and abroad and has published research papers in academic law journals and book chapters in edited volumes. She is fluent in Greek (native), English, French and Spanish.
