Professor Dr. Anne Graham is Emeritus Professor (Air Transport and Tourism Management) at the University of Westminster in London, UK. Before joining the University, Anne worked in air transport consultancy. Anne has been involved in the teaching, research and consultancy of air transport for over 40 years and has developed two key research interests. First is in airport management, marketing, economics and regulation. Her other research area is the analysis of tourism and aviation demand and the relationship between the tourism and aviation industries. She has published widely, notably two key airport texts being the sixth edition (published 2023) of ‘Managing Airports: An International Perspective’ and the second edition (published 2022) of ‘Airport Marketing’ (with Prof Nigel Halpern). Other recent book publications in the last ten years (when she was a co-author or co-editor) include ‘Air Transport and Regional Development Methodologies’, ‘Air Transport and Regional Development Case Studies’ and ‘Air Transport and Regional Development Policies’ (2021), Air Transport: A Tourism Perspective’ (2019) ,’ Destination London: The Expansion of the Visitor Economy’ (2019), ‘The Routledge Companion to Air Transport Management’ (2018 with Prof Nigel Halpern), ‘Airport Finance and Investment in the Global Economy’ (2016) and ‘Aviation Economics’ (2016). Anne has also written numerous journal articles and book chapters and presented at conferences and industry events throughout the world. She was previously Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Air Transport Management, is on the Editorial Board of a number of other journals and is a Fellow of the Air Transport Research Society.
