The call for applications will be announced each year through various channels, including the programme’s website, social media, advertisements, and email campaigns. Candidates must submit their applications via a dedicated online platform. A dedicated committee assesses each application based on several criteria, including the candidates’ average score in their first (undergraduate) degree, research or professional activity related to the MATBA subject, letters of recommendation, and an oral interview.
To be eligible for application, candidates must possess at least an undergraduate degree from a Greek university or a non-Greek tertiary education establishment recognised by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre of Greece. Evidence of English language proficiency, at least at C1 level, is also required, although native English speakers or graduates from English- taught programmes may be exempt from this language requirement. Relevant professional experience and/or academic publications in the aviation or related sectors are advantageous.
